PREPARE THE LEADERS TO LEAD

Prepare to Lead

The prime factor for the success of a team can be - how well the leader leads the team. An effective leader must facilitate, inspire and implement rather than control. Gathering Information

The leader must try to know what they want to achieve and find the difficulties they face by asking questions for the benefit of the organization.

Establishing Objectives

A leader must know the objectives that can fit in the organization and win the goals. The ultimate goal must be challenging, inspiring and motivating for the whole team.

Forming a Team

The leader must appoint new team members and offer them with some responsibilities. Try to find the best candidate to form a dynamic team not only with internal promotion but also with external recruitment.

Exercising Authority

Ensure that the instructions should be clearly understood by the members. Being consistent means to be always honest, direct and fair in the dealings with other people.

Delegating Tasks

The leader should concentrate more of his time on different activities when compared to others. Delegation is a form of time management.

Communicating Clearly

The potentiality of the leader is to communicate with the staff effectively. There needs two-way communication and therefore invite feedback from the staff.

Collegiate Leadership

The collegiate model can win mostly because it promotes a sense of unity and motivation within a company. Always be ready to allow others to take the lead when appropriate. Also read: Leading People in Business and Leading Change in Business to build the skills and mindset of an effective leader.
